Objectives
- To offer and train CSSD professionals (working and freshers), allied and healthcare professionals in international best practices, standards, and emerging technologies of sterilization sciences.
- To prepare national guidelines for Indian Sterile Services and seek approval from government authorities on priority basis.
- To collaborate with national health authorities for implementation of National guidelines for Indian Sterile Services in every hospital, including government and non-corporate hospitals.
- To serve as a global hub for sterilization knowledge exchange, through national and international conferences, webinars and workshops.
- To establish a modern CSSD that serves as an ideal facility for hands-on training for our courses and workshops while also functioning as an outsourced CSSD.
- To promote research activities in sterilization sciences, such as the shelf life of products in different packaging materials, under various storage conditions, and using different sterilization methods like ETO, VHP, etc.
- To promote and research eco-friendly packaging materials and consumables, and energy-efficient, water-saving sterilization methods. Encourage Make in India quality products.
- To provide consultation in setting up, upgrading, and auditing Hospital CSSDs and independent sterilization centres.
